Change Makers

Democracy in action!

Change Makers are made up of representatives from Year 1 to 6.  They are elected annually by their peers and act as a voice for all children in school.  Their key role is to share ideas and raise issues with senior leaders and governors; playing an important role in the running of the school.

Change Makers help our children and young people to:

  • enjoy and feel empowered by their education

  • feel that their school responds to their needs

  • have the opportunity to let adults know their feelings and opinions about things that affect them

  • have a say about decisions, and to play an active role in making their school a better place
